Okay, I don’t usually write celebratory posts on follows, likes etc, but I found something interesting and confusing.

I’ve seen posts celebrating 100, 200, 1000, 2000 follows/likes etc.

The other day I got a notification that congratulated me for 1337 likes.

Why the number 1337? Was it a glitch? Is this number somehow special?

Please let me know if you know the reason! I find this quite fascinating 😀

Now, since I am writing a post like this, I’d like to thank all of you who stop by to read, like, comment and share. It’s delightful to be connected to all of you, sharing thoughts and having conversations that brighten my day 🙂

Haha! Apparently it’s a hacker code language 😁

Could it be something to do with timing? So it just looked how many likes you had a certain arbitrary point since starting your blog? No idea, but I’m more and more forward to 1337 myself!

Haha it seems WordPress marks 1337 likes as some sort of tribute to hacker’s code language! I’m sure you’ll get there soon ☺
